North Georgia Suites is located on Sunset Drive, on the west part of campus next to the Health and Natural Sciences building. In addition, the Walker Drive parking deck is conveniently located adjacent to the residence hall.

This building houses up to 598 freshmen and upperclassmen, divided between two buildings and connected by one central atrium.

Approximately 30 students live in a community on a hallway, with 88 students on each floor.

Suites are single gender, and most freshman hallways are single gender as well. However, upperclassman hallways and special interest halls are often coed by suite.

All rooms have XL Twin mattresses.

Move-In Checklist

  • You must have your ǧÃŬAV ID with you in order to check in. (See the semester sections above for further info.)
  • Have all of your boxes/belongings labeled with your name and room number.
  • If you have reserved a loft, it will be placed in your room prior to the move-in day.
  • Know which building, room, and time you have been assigned. Residents will check in at their assigned building and will not be allowed in before their assigned time.
  • Talk with your roommate about how you want your room to be set up (lofted, bunked, etc.). Also discuss who is bringing the larger items (i.e. refrigerator, tv, etc.) if you intend to share.
