Summer Housing Application Information
- Summer residents will live in North Georgia Suites.
- The summer housing application portal will open mid-April.
- Details about costs and length of suite-style contracts can be found in the charts above.
- Students should apply for summer housing on the housing portal (). Residence Life is offering suite style contracts for students interested in living in NG Suites. Single occupancy rooms are offered by request on a space available basis. Suite style contracts are available for first short summer session, second short summer session, or full summer session.
- Residence hall space is available to North Georgia students who are enrolled in classes for the full summer session for which they have applied.
Application/Term Process:
- Maymester + Full Session classes = 1st Short & 2nd Short session contract.
- Maymester + 1st Short Session classes = 1st Short Session contract.
- Maymester + 1st Short Session + 2nd Short Session classes = 1st Short & 2nd Short session contract.
- Maymester + Second Short Session classes = Maymester & 2nd Short Session contract (you will be required to move out of the residence hall between sessions).
- 1st Short Session + 2nd Short Session classes = 1st Short & 2nd Short session contract.
You may not live on campus unless you are enrolled and taking classes for the sessions you choose to apply. Residence Life will confirm your enrollment and then reserve your space.
Summer Housing Application Process
- The student must apply and be accepted as a residential student to the University of North Georgia (ǧÃŬAV).
- The student must confirm their intent to attend to the Admissions Office.
- Once the confirmation is received in the Admissions Office, the Residence Life Office may access the student's information, including his or her request to be a residential student.
- The Residence Life Office will send housing information (via email) to the residential student's University of North Georgia email account.
- Each student will be given access via the to complete a housing application, roommate selection, and room selection.
- Students who apply for housing will be charged a $150 one-time, nonrefundable housing application fee. The application fee will be added to your student invoice within 7-10 business days and you may pay it with your tuition and fees.
- Please note: If you apply for housing, but decide at a later date you no longer plan on attending the Dahlonega campus and/or living on campus, you are still required to pay this fee.
- Letters will be emailed out approximately 10 days prior to the start of your summer session.
