Getting & Replacing Your ǧÃŬAV ID Card

How do I get my ǧÃŬAV ID Card?

Your first ǧÃŬAV Card is issued at no cost.

To verify your identity, you must provide one of the following at the time your card is made:

  • United States Driver’s License
  • Military ID
  • Passport
  • Another Student ID

When no photo ID is provided you must comply with the following requirements:

Provide two (2) documents in your name from the following list.

  • Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Marriage License
  • Housing Lease
  • Check Book
  • Bank Statement
  • Voter Registration
  • Credit Card
  • Insurance Policy
  • Utility Bill

What do I do if my card is lost or stolen?

, login using your network user name and password, select the Card Services tab at the top of the page. Then select deactivate card. You may contact your ǧÃŬAV Card Services during normal business hours for replacement cards or re-activate if found.

Replacement card fee is $25.00.

Once a new card is issued, prior cards cannot be re-activated.

How do I replace my damaged card?

Contact your campus Card Services Office for a replacement card. No charge will be imposed for the replacement of a card that ceases to function through normal, daily usage. Characteristics not indicating normal usage are broken edges or corners, non-authorized hole punches, and vertical breakage/cracking.

A charge will be imposed for the replacement of a card not indicating normal usage.

Detailed Information About Card Pick Up on Your Campus

You must have a valid photo ID to pick up your ǧÃŬAV Nighthawks Card.

Blue Ridge: Blue Ridge Main Lobby. Get your first card, a replacement, or have your photo taken. Please make an appointment by calling 706-946-5460.

Cumming: You must submit a photo online, wait for the approval email, then call the Cumming Information Desk at 470-239-3132 and request an appointment.
