Faculty/Staff Meal Plan Payroll Deduction

It is easier than ever to set up a faculty/staff meal plan! Qualifying faculty/staff can now pay for meal plans with Payroll Deduction. If using Payroll Deduction, meal plans must be signed up for before the end of the second week of September for fall semester or February for spring semester. Contact Dahlonega Card Services for the Meal Plan Payroll Deduction form. Meal plans can also be purchased anytime during the semester.

How It Works: Employees paid monthly will have three deductions for the cost of the meal plan. Employees paid biweekly will have six deductions for the cost of the meal plan. After the end of the second week of September for fall semester or February for spring semester, all other faculty/staff meal plans will need to be paid in full and Payroll Deduction will be unavailable. If the employee leaves the university prior to the balance being paid in full, the remaining balance must be paid off prior to departure. Faculty/staff meal plans are non-refundable.

The University reserves the right to adjust the types of meal plans offered and pricing structure of each meal plan prior to the beginning of each new semester. The University will provide faculty/staff with notice of any such changes as early as possible before the beginning of each new semester; however, meal plans and costs for each semester are subject to change without notice.

Note for Biweekly Paid Employees: If there is a month where the employee receives a third paycheck, deductions will not be taken out of that paycheck.
