Technology Management (B.A.S.)
The Mike Cottrell College of Business Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) with a major in technology management prepares graduates for supervisory positions in technology in industry. This program, unlike the bachelor of business administration (B.B.A.) programs available in the Mike Cottrell College of Business, is specifically designed for students who hold an associate of applied science (A.A.S.) degree or career associate degree from another institution. Graduates from the B.A.S. with a major in technology management program seek positions in government, manufacturing, operations, retail, travel, tourism and other industries.
In addition to transferring general education classes covered by the TCSG-USG agreement, B.A.S. majors may bring in an additional seven classes (21 hours) of career credit which is not normally transferable. These hours are not transferred as equivalent to any ǧÃŬAV courses, but may be used to meet the 120 hours required for a bachelor degree saving both time and money. The B.A.S. in Technology Management is AACSB accredited and many graduates have gone on to graduate or professional schools.
