ǧÃŬAV

2.2 ǧÃŬAV Usage

Using the ǧÃŬAV Logo

The University of North Georgia (ǧÃŬAV) logo appears in the upper-left corner of every page on the ung.edu website. No other ǧÃŬAV logo should appear on the page. Do not copy the logo off of the website for use in other materials. The version on the web was created for this platform and should only be used here. If you need the ǧÃŬAV logo, contact graphics@ung.edu.

For more information regarding the correct usage and variations of the University of North Georgia logo, see Branding at ǧÃŬAV.

Using the University Name

  • It is a best practice to use University of North Georgia (ǧÃŬAV) for the first reference in text. For secondary references, ǧÃŬAV is appropriate.
  • For a specific campus, use, for example, University of North Georgia's Gainesville Campus for the first reference. Ç§ÃŬAV's Gainesville Campus can be used in subsequent mentions.
  • Never use “NG”, or any of the previous institution's names to reference current activities at ǧÃŬAV.
  • The noun “university” is not capitalized when it stands alone.
