Overview

Seth Scofield is a cinematographer and filmmaker from Washington D.C.. He spent the majority of his adolescent years living in Europe, where the arts and culture played influenced his personal development, character and integrity. Scofield holds an M.A. in Communication Arts with a major in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art And Design, and an M.F.A. in Cinematography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

At ǧÃŬAV, he teaches History of Graphic Design, Professional Practices and Art Appreciation. In 2015, Scofield founded, managed, branded, and promoted Skyline International Film Festival, a three-day film and game festival hosted by the University of North Georgia, Gainesville campus. He is now Chief Operations Officer of Pacific and Vine Films LLC in Washington D.C. Scofield's combined experiences in the cultural industries of film and graphic design provide Visual Arts students with a wealth of information and insights into real-life art world experiences.
