Questions about online instruction at ǧÃŬAV?

Here are 5 tips for SUCCESS

1: SET UP YOUR SPACE

Designate a chair and table for your school work. Don't use couches or beds, which are associated with lounging or sleeping.

Take breaks by  stretching and moving to another room.

Stick to your morning routine such as eating breakfast and brushing your teeth.

Grab a snack as needed like you would on campus.

2: LOG INTO D2L

D2L is the primary way to access courses.

New to online instruction? Look for the tutorial.

3: CHECK EMAIL EVERY DAY

Your ǧÃŬAV email is how faculty and staff share information.

4: MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR ONLINE CLASS

Take notes.

Pay attention to all of the directions and follow them.

Read all of the messages from your instructor.

Determine the instructor's preferred method for communication, which could be email or D2L.

If you have questions, ask!

5: STAY ORGANIZED & SET A SCHEDULE

Create a calendar to schedule important due dates and study time.

Set aside time for exercise and self care.
