Overview

Dr. SueAnn Lott McCall rejoined the Department of Physical Therapy at University of North Georgia in 2013. Previously, she was a part time faculty member in this program from its inception in 1992. She is currently an Associate Professor in Physical Therapy at the University of North Georgia.

Dr. McCall has an extensive and broad background in the areas of physical therapy orthopaedics and private practice management. She teaches in the Musculoskeletal series and the professional socialization series.

Dr. McCall holds various positions and titles in the local community which include board member of LivingLifeTeam, a support group for the visually impaired and President/CEO/lead physical therapist APT Holdings. She was also President/CEO/Lead physical therapist of Appalachian Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Co-founder/Co-director/physical therapist in TurningPoint Women’s Healthcare, a nonprofit for women surviving breast cancer.

Dr. McCall’s research interests include focusing on Guide Dog users’ experiences with guide dogs, the potential for injury and fall prevention, and innovation and design for better posture and harness handle adaptions.
