Education student receives PAGE scholarship

ǧÃŬAV junior and early childhood and special education major Carley Aurelia Flores, was recently named recipient of a Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) Undergraduate Scholarship.

The $1,000 scholarship goes to an outstanding PAGE member in a teacher education program who will soon be entering Georgia's classrooms. Recipients agree to teach in Georgia for three years.

"Nurturing new and experienced educators so that Georgia students benefit from their enhanced learning is a primary focus of PAGE," said Dr. Allene Magill, executive director of PAGE. "It's an honor that the PAGE Foundation is able to provide scholarships to assist aspiring educators."
