Overview

Yeasol Kang enjoys an active career as a chamber musician, orchestral player, and music educator. Ms. Kang has been a member of the ARCO Chamber Orchestra since 2011. She performed and participated in numerous classical and contemporary music recording projects with the orchestra, including the world premieres. She also performs with local orchestras, including the North Georgia Chamber Symphony, Gwinnett Ballet Theater, and Georgia Ballet. 

Ms. Kang recently joined as an adjunct professor of violin and viola at the University of North Georgia. She serves as an academic advisor for the Gainesville Chamber Orchestra. Kang also teaches at the Atlanta Music Academy and privately at her studio in the Atlanta area. She regularly teaches at the workshops and clinics at music schools.

Ms. Kang holds a Bachelor of Music Performance and Education degree from the University of Georgia. She is pursuing a DMA in violin performance at the University of Georgia under the direction of Levon Ambartsumian and Shakhida Azimkhodjaeva.
