2022 Regional Education and Economic Development Summit: Transforming Healthcare in North Georgia
The Covid-19 pandemic revealed health inequities, an increase in mental health conditions, and the need for structural and technological transformation. As innovation blurs traditional healthcare boundaries, technology will be the great equalizer, not only improving access to care to marginalized and rural populations but also in the evolution from treatment-based reactionary care to prevention and well-being.
The annual Regional Education and Economic Development Summit is a unique one-day event that brings together economic developers, community and government leaders, industry partners, and faculty, staff and students (university, technical college, and high school) to discuss industry trends, educational pathways and career opportunities in healthcare.
