General Compliance Training
As required by ǧÃŬAV policies and procedures, Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia Policy Manual and Business Procedures Manual, as well as applicable federal and state laws, all ǧÃŬAV employees are required to annually complete mandatory training via approved online learning platforms. New employees are required to complete this training during the first month of employment at ǧÃŬAV.
Annual Mandatory Training Courses include, but are not limited to:
- Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Right to Know Program
- Ethics
- Cybersecurity
- Georgia Open Records Act
- Preventing Discrimination and Harassment
- Conflict of Interest
Additional Mandatory Training Courses for Select Populations include, but are not limited to:
- Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)
- Data Governance
- Research Training
- Records Retention
- Title IX
- Clery Act Campus Security Authorities (CSAs)
- Driver Training
- Wex Fuel Card Training
- Programs Serving Non-Enrolled Minors
